Make a Mug in May - Adult Pottery workshop Sunday 8th May 2pm - 4:30pm
Why not join us to create your own hand built ceramic mug. A fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon being creative.
In this workshop you will learn how to make a mug using slab building techniques. You will also have the option of creating textures by using stamps, mats , rollers or foliage to create a lovely surface design.
You will also be shown how to pull a handle the traditional way. Once assembled your mug will be left to dry out fully before being fired in the Kiln. It can take between 2 and 3 weeks to be properly dry enough to go in the kiln.
During the workshop we will book a future date in to the studio for you to return to apply underglaze/glaze to your mug so that it can be glaze fired ready for use.
The price includes all materials and both firings.
