Adult Workshop Modern Rag Rugging Sunday 15th August 2021 2:30pm - 4:30pm
Rag Rugging is a technique traditionally used to turn rags into textural rugs. In this workshop, you'll learn two versatile rag rugging techniques that can be used to make a piece of wall art, homeware, a brooch or more.
Recently, this has become a very popular craft again. Hence the emphasis on Modern as there is such a wide range of material and items that can used, such as scraps, recycled materials, colourful rope, buttons and other things to choose from to make your piece unique.
As rag rugging takes a long time to complete you may not finish your piece in the session (but if you opt to do a brooch you will do) but will go away with tools and skills to complete it.
Please note this is an Adult Workshop
After the lifting of restrictions by the Government on the 19th July we intend to continue to require customer's to wear a face mask while browsing the shop, making payments or visiting the toilet as we are aware that infection rates are still high and we do have several customers who through no fault of their own have been unable to get a second vaccine as yet leaving them vulnerable. Once seated at your table you are welcome to remove your mask if you wish but we ask that you remain seated.
NB. Space4craft and the workshop tutor continue to access the situation and will take precautions against COVID-19 as recommended at the time of the workshop and we would ask that you bring your own mask and hand sanitiser. (We do have individual hand sanitisers available to use if you do not have your own)
Face visors are available if needed for compliance any with social distancing requirements at the time of the workshop
Splash screens will be in place where required.
