Upcycled Woven Jewellery - Sunday 19th June 2022 2pm - 4pm
Custom Make your own jewellery by learning how to make these wonderful braided necklaces. Using textile yarns or by up-cycling t shirts so the necklace neatly follows your neckline. Kim of Darnitworkshops has an amazing unique stock and will guide you through the process.
In this workshop you'll learn how to up-cycle a T-shirt into a really versatile yarn. You'll then learn how to transform this into chunky statement jewellery. Learn a variety of braiding, macrame and weaving techniques and how to finish the pieces off professionally
No prior experience required but once done, you’ll be bound to want to make more to co-ordinate your wardrobe.
All materials included, but feel free to bring any t-shirts you'd like to upcycle!
