Make your own Ceramic Lotus Flower Incense Burner Sunday 26th June 2022 2:30pm - 4pm
This lotus flower is an incense or joss stick holder and stands looking serene and beautiful. Filling your home with a glorious scent.
Made with clay using the slab rolling method this workshop is suitable for total beginners.
If you came on the charity sunflower workshop then you’ll enjoy making this one as will anyone not used to working in clay.
In this workshop you will roll and cut out your clay before shaping and making special holes to hold your incense sticks.
Price of the workshop is £18
It will take at least a week to dry out before it can be fired and once ready you can then book into our paint a pot studio to paint it with underglazes.
NB. This is not included in the workshop price - so you can spread your costs out. We make a £7 charge for your return visit for painting, over glaze dipping and your second glaze firing. There is a £5 table booking fee only but we do give you 2 free hot drinks to enjoy.
