Family/Friends Group Wheel Experience for 4 Saturday 27th August 10:30am - 11:45am
Been watching The Great Pottery Throw down? Always wanted to have a go on the pottery wheel ?
This is your chance to come along as a family/friends group and have a go at throwing a pot.
In the session you will watch a demonstration of how to "pull a pot" Then it is your turn to have a go (we centre the clay for you for this part). You will have your own wheel throughout. You will have the chance to try "centering" your clay.
Your pots will need to dry before being fired (this can take 2 or 3 weeks depending on thickness of pot). This first firing of your pot is included in the fee.
Options and charges for glazing/painting your pots will be discussed with you at the session.
Maximum of 4 people.
Please wear old clothes as it can get messy.
Please do not attend your session if you have any COVID symptoms (new dry cough, high temperature, loss of smell). Contact us to rearrange.
